Meet Dr. Augenstein
Courtney is a board-certified physician assistant that began her career in surgery, but found her passion in non-surgical facial augmentation. She started her aesthetic training in Louisiana following graduation from Louisiana State University Health and Sciences Center Masters Program in Physician Assistant Studies. She began practicing in general surgery before moving to aesthetic plastic surgery and cosmetic dermatology.
Courtney has since performed over 15,000 injections and trained other physicians, PAs, NPs, and RNs in aesthetic medicine. She is a guest lecturer in dermatology and suturing at Louisiana State University Physician Assistant School and a national trainer of aesthetic injectables.
Courtney specializes in correcting facial proportions utilizing neurotoxins and dermal fillers. She loves being able to make small adjustments to optimize the beauty of each of her clients. She is also an Expert ZO Skin Health provider and treats multiple skin concerns using medical-grade skincare and in-office procedures to achieve a bright, clear, and radiant complexion.
In 2019/2020, Courtney was voted ‘Top 100 Injector in America’, and she strives to live up to that title with every patient she treats.
She resides in her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina, with her husband, Will, and two daughters, Mary and Elinor.
I have been a Registered Nurse since 1998. My career began in critical care and transitioned to injectables in 2011 after realizing my love for the art and science of medical aesthetics. With more than 12 years of injecting experience, I specialize in full facial balancing and corrective aesthetics. In addition to treating patients, I am honored to be a GAIN trainer to other injectors for Galderma. I’ve had the privilege of training with some of the most respected injectors in the industry. As learning never ends in medical aesthetics, I am dedicated to staying up to date on all the changes in this ever-evolving industry to further hone my skills as an aesthetic injector.
I am known for my welcoming demeanor and the personal connection I create with each patient. I consult in depth with patients to get a thorough understanding of their goals and concerns before creating a fully customized treatment plan. My primary goal with each injectable patient is to deliver natural looking results that leave them feeling confident and refreshed. I believe it’s important to educate patients about their treatment options to empower them to feel confident about the decision to have aesthetic procedures.
Shelly Lee is a licensed medical aesthetician specializing in BBL, Halo, and MicroLaser Peel treatments for a variety of skin concerns. Shelly has been a licensed aesthetician since 2006 and has exclusively worked in the clinical laser industry in those 16 years. She has a passion for helping patients achieve healthy skin and improving any concerns, to ultimately give patients self-confidence. Some of the skin concerns that she treats include: Acne Scarring, Brown Spots, Facial Veins and Red Spots, Melasma, and improvement in overall complexion and smoothness of the skin.
